Standing Firm in Faith by Grace

Peter concludes his letter by giving practical instructions concerning the themes he has been addressing throughout. He recognizes that the situation these believers face would naturally produce many anxieties and so he helps his readers to know how to deal with them. This is so helpful to us today as we too live in anxious times. Believers in Jesus have a real adversary in the devil but God has all power and authority over our enemy. We are to simply stand firm in the grace that God supplies and trust God to accomplish his purposes.
