Suffering & Salvation

Though we may be grieved by various trials in this life, there is great reason for hope and grounds for joy. The suffering of trials need not hinder worship or faith. On the contrary, worship explodes from Peter’s pen in this section written to suffering Christians about the salvation that God has worked for them. Our great salvation produces hope, faith, love, and joy in us and results in praise, glory, and honor for Jesus. It’s so good that angels long to see it come to pass!
