Living in Light of Eternity

In this section, Peter draws our attention to the reality of an eternity beyond this life. When we grow in our awareness of this truth, it should cause us to live differently than we used to before knowing God. Those who don’t know about the eternal reality of the age to come, will live as if this life is all there is. “But they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.” We who know this truth ought to live in this age “for the will of God.”
